Valve World Expo India 2024: A Resounding Success!

The first edition of the international valve expo and conference sets new industry standards for networking, collaboration and business development

India, October 2024 – The inaugural edition of Valve World Expo India, held from September 19-20, 2024, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, concluded with tremendous success. The 2-day trade fair and summit, dedicated to industrial valves, actuators, gaskets, sealings, engineering software, and related components, attracted a remarkable 3923 attendees and showcased the latest innovations from 70 leading valve manufacturers.

Jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf India and Global Flow Control, Valve World Expo India became the exclusive networking point for professionals from key industries such as Energy - Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemicals/Chemicals, Water & Water Treatment, looking for top valve solutions for their specific needs.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key stakeholders from the industry including Pranjal, Director of Engineering at Fluor Corporation, Delhi and the Chairman of the Valve World Expo & Summit India Advisory Board, Ramesh Babu, Managing Director at Velan India, Subramanian Sarma,Whole-Time Director and President (Energy) at Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbons/Energy, Shailesh Kumar, CEO at VaTech Wabag India Cluster as well as representatives from L&T Valves, G M Engineering Pvt.   • Relevant theme for a future-ready world: The theme of the event - ‘Indian Valve Industry - For a Greener Tomorrow’ was reinforced in the various in-depth conversations as well as the future-ready solutions on the show floor.
  • Record-breaking turnout: 3923 attendees from across India and internationally visited the event. The exhibitors were impressed not only by the huge turnout and the number of contacts that they made but also with the profile of visitors who attended the expo, which included potential buyers for the manufacturers who showcased their products at the fair.   • Valve World Summit India: 250 Delegates, who attended the Valve World Summit India, benefited from insightful presentations on industry trends, technologies and challenges impacting both valve manufacturers and users. Keynotes, technical sessions as well as panel discussions elaborated on 9 futuristic topics such as emerging energy landscape, role of water treatment technologies in developing Indian smart cities, supply chain, procurement & AML strategies, fugitive emissions and valve sealing technologies. The speaker line-up comprised of 36 influential industry veterans from around the world.
  • Workshops: 7 specialised workshops, hosted by L&T Valves, Auma India, Teadit, Valmet, Indian Valve and Actuator Manufacturers Association (IVAMA), simulationHub and Bermad, provided hands-on learning experiences to visitors on topics covering the applications of valves across industries. Multiple iterations of the workshops were conducted to accommodate the high demand from the attendees.
  • International appeal: With participation & representation from international companies including those from Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden and USA, the event hosted a platform rich in global trends and offerings.
  • International Buyers' Roundtable: The roundtable on Day 2 facilitated valuable networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors, creating the ideal backdrop for focused networking and for building strong alliances.
  • IVAMA Hall of Fame: Hosted by Indian Valve and Actuator Manufacturers Association (IVAMA), the industry felicitation celebrated achievements that have made a lasting impact in the valve industry. This took place during the networking event where the industry professionals came together for an evening of celebrations.
