I am a Chemical Engineering Graduate from University of Pune with 2 decades of experience, I have done PGD (Piping) from Indian Institute of technology Mumbai and an Executive MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research-Mumbai.
I started my career as a sales and marketing Engineer in a chemical company, followed by a research engineer working in collaboration with IIT-Mumbai for R&D of Oil and Gas.
Major experience of my career (16+ years) is with Wabag. Wabag is an Indian MNC in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of water and waste water treatment plants.
Wabag is ranked as World’s 3rd largest private water operator by Global Water Intelligence UK.
During the course of my career, I have interacted/worked with various clients/consultants from Oil and Gas, Power and Utility sectors across the globe. SIBUR & NIPIGAS- Russia, Saudi Aramco, Woods PLC, & Marafiq, in Saudi Arabia, KNPC- Kuwait, Punjloyd- Qatar, Hyundai- Korea, Mott MacDonald- Oman, Bechtel US & France, Reliance, Tata Power, JSPL, Jacob, TCE, Fitchtner, EIL India.
I have worked with various international professionals in USA, Europe, Russia, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. This has given me a rich international work exposure.
In my current role i head an International Engineering Center in Wabag, i am responsible for Engineering of global business units within Wabag as well as external clients.
Some of my key achievements are as below:
In 2021, I became the youngest person in Wabag to head International Engineering Center -IEC
Led engineering team of first of a kind job for the company (High pressure CPU with resin transfer).
Developed an engineering services business for US, UK and Middle East market named as "Wabag Engineering Services" and executed multiple engineering orders which involved engineering and consultancy.
Heads a portal for productivity enhancement at company level- Idea Farm.
