Former Executive Director (Technical) in Engineers India Limited (EIL) with Instrumentation & Electronics Qualification. Have extensive technical experience in design for over 35 years handling various types of projects such as FEED, design, detailed engineering, EPCM, EPC / LSTK (Lump sum turnkey) / OBE -LSTK and Project Management (PMC) across complete Hydrocarbon value chain and proficient in Instrumentation, Control & Automation systems engineering in Oil & Gas Industry and other diversified sectors. Served EIL in various capacities and was HOD (Instrumentation) and Executive Director (Technical) prior to superannuation from EIL. Was responsible for successful implementation of many prestigious projects in Oil and Gas sectors. Led successful execution till commissioning of Mega Refinery and Petrochemical Projects, Gas processing complexes, Offshore platforms, Pipelines & Compressor stations, Metallurgy, Chemical and Infrastructure Projects and has worked with almost all End-users in India as well as International Clients.
Has worked as Senior Group Leader (Instrumentation) and was involved in design and engineering in all phases of the grassroot project for the 650000 BPSD Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Project (DRPP) of M/s Dangote Oil Refining Company, Nigeria, which is considered as one of the largest single train Refinery in the world and was involved till commissioning of the project.
Had experience of Interaction with almost all process licensors in Refinery & petrochemical Projects during review of process design packages of various units.
As Executive Director, was in-charge of Complete Engineering as part of Project Engineering management division, Electrical, Instrumentation, Various engineering hubs like Regional Offices, Engineering Support Services and responsible for engineering management of all projects as well as business development in the company. Has always shown high value of commitment and leadership quality with regular review of all ongoing Mega Projects with all disciplines heads and respective project team members ensuring on-time completion of engineering, interface related coordination, procurement engineering, assistance in field engineering, start up and commissioning as applicable.
As Chairman of EIL Net-Zero Committee, was responsible for finalizing the roadmap for EIL and implementing EIL’s vision of achieving Net-zero target. Ensured completion of various SPV installations at all EIL complexes, prepared monthly report, ensured on-time reporting of EIL Net Zero data to ministry time to time, provided Net zero input for Integrated Annual report.
Developed a robust database in Instrumentation department by adopting latest technologies and developing various specifications with an emphasis to the current market requirements of Digital solution and cyber security, charting a clear path for smooth execution of future projects.
Achieved improved asset utilization, efficient processes, improved Productivity by adopting IIoT w.r.t Digitization (Industry 4.0) technologies using wireless sensors for equipment health monitoring, exchanger performance, leakage detection.
Was instrumental in strengthening Project Engineering management team by setting up new guidelines, standards and digital interface tools for various engineering activities in the department utilizing various integration tools for Digital Project Execution in effective and non-disruptive manner and development of inter-disciplinary guidelines.

Was session chair for various presentations in IEW-2023 & 2024, Chemtech-2024, Was Guest of honour for launching of IS Electrical standard (IS-18732) in 2023, was jury member for Industry-wide Technical Paper Writing Competition - 'URJAALEKH 2024, Guest of Honor at the Automation Expo 2024 Inauguration, Jury committee for QC Projects evaluation & selection for C&MD Trophy in GAIL.
